Book your Vintage-to-Modern Bridal Redesign fitting with Cynthia. This initial booking includes up to a one-hour consultation and first fitting of your heirloom gown. During this time, you and Cynthia will collaborate on how you would like to transform the original dress—whether that means a complete modern redesign, a thoughtful refresh that preserves the gown’s original character, or a tailored refit that honors its legacy while flattering your silhouette. Cynthia will use her expertise in couture-level garment construction and bridal design to guide you through possibilities, ensuring you feel confident in the creative plan for your one-of-a-kind gown. This fitting and consultation covers one heirloom wedding gown. If you are considering multiple redesign concepts, additional gowns, or a second look, please book two appointments to allow sufficient time and to prevent overlap with other brides. Please arrive at your fitting with the undergarments and shoes you anticipate wearing. Cynthia can also advise on shapewear, support solutions, and styling options to complement both the original garment and your redesigned vision. During the fitting, she will pin and shape the dress on your body to demonstrate the transformation and outline the construction plan. There is a $600 minimum alteration and redesign fee per heirloom wedding gown. Because vintage garments vary widely in construction, fabric integrity, and complexity, final pricing is determined upon completion of the work. Although rush heirloom redesign fittings may be accommodated depending on availability, this service should ideally be booked approximately 16 weeks prior to the wedding date. Additional rush fees may apply for timelines shorter than 16 weeks, so please plan accordingly.
